Going from strength to strength, The Island started back in 2007 as a short term project based at the old bridewell police station.
8 years later we are in the great position to be negotiating a longer term lease and to be hosting some exciting new work from artists from all around Bristol and beyond.
The Island as a project is proving the importance of positioning all artists in the heart of the creative community of a city and allows them to become contributors to re-design resilient cities and spaces.
To celebrate the hard work and the love that has gone to this project we’d like to present our documentary on The Island project.
Great project, great space, great people!
We hope you enjoy the documentary and thank you for all the love and support all those years!
Onwards and upwards!
